In Armored Core 4, the "Arena" is called "Simulator". Here, the player faces off against 41 enemy Nexts affiliated with different companies. The Arena is split up into data packs which are determined by Next affiliations. After selecting an opponent, the player is granted the ability to determine the battlefield.
