The Adventures of Gina the Veterinarian served as the closing Sesame Street segment in two Season 38 episodes. Similar to the Trash Gordon segments, Gina tells adopted son Marco bedtime stories in which she journeys far and wide to help animals in distress. In episode 4139, Gina tells Marco about her adventure to the jungle to remove a splinter from the paw of a ferocious lion (Little Murray Sparkles).
