He is a young man with psychic powers and a troubled past (crippled in one leg and victim of abuse), who can control people with his mind. He is enemy of a fellow psychic named Im Kyu-nam who was his opposite whose boss was killed by Cho-in and who killed his friends Boba and Ali. Cho-in bonds with Young-Sook whose father manipulated to death by Cho-in. During final battle Cho-in and Kyu-nam face to face which eventually led his death.
