Directorate Y was a branch of New Republic Intelligence that was created for combating the Yuuzhan Vong threat. It was active since 24 ABY, when Agent Viktor Tsoi learned of the threat upon examining the Imperial Archives. It remained active throughout the Yuuzhan Vong War, and was disbanded upon creation of Galactic Alliance Intelligence.
