Mike Mason (born February 28, 1985, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina) is an American football wide receiver who was signed briefly by the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. Mason was signed on May 3, 2007; he was waived on August 28, 2007 after three preseason games. While under contract with the Browns, Mason was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors after struggling with Cleveland police officers in June, 2007. Mason is most known for having exceptional speed. He also set the school record for wide receivers in the power clean (320 lbs.) and the 40 yard dash (4.24s).
