A slave-hauler was a vessel run by the Dodath Raiders in the months following the Battle of Endor. Han Solo ran foul of a slave-hauler during his and Chewbacca's attempt to liberate Kashyyyk from the Galactic Empire. The Raiders' ship came up on Solo, firing on the Millennium Falcon and taking out its comm array.
