Cephenes (also known as Verdanis, Beta Cephei or the Terratin system) was a star system, situated somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, in the Arachna Nebula. It's only planet—Terratin—was settled during the 21st century by émigrés opposed to the political changes of the era on Earth. The name of the Terra 10 colony was eventually corrupted into the alternate name for the planet and system, "Terratin". (TOS - Log Four novelization: The Terratin Incident)
