The RC1720M features an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a fixed bridge, dual Ibanez humbucking pickups, a bone nut and Gotoh locking tuning machines. The RC1720S is a similar model with a rosewood fingerboard and different pickups.
