Dr. Lason was a doctor to Jay Dratton in 1998 after Jay began suffering from headaches. Lason informed Jay he had an enlarged malignant tumor and estimated Jay had three months to live. Despite Lason's explanation that treatment was no longer an option, Jay insisted on undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, certain he could beat the cancer as long as he had a "winning attitude". Lason's whereabouts in 2007, when Jay's death was re-examined, are unknown.
