Mansfield Park is the titular estate in Mansfield Park. It is a baronetcy, and the family seat of Sir Thomas Bertram and his lady. Sir Thomas's eldest son, Thomas Bertram, is the heir to the estate. The park is about five square miles. The house is modern-built, spacious, and well placed in the park. Mary Crawford thought it would be the envy of plenty other wealthy gentlemen in England. When Fanny Price first came to the park, she was awed by its splendor and grandeur, which was so different from the home she grew up in.
