In 0 BBY after he returned to his homeworld, he entered Bunto Cantina and his close friend Djubar Debeli told him about the bounty that was placed on the head of one of Pagda's most famous singing stars, Glupy Tikk Wan. He managed to captivate Glupy and take him to Leq Wiss, the being that placed bounty on Glupy's head. However, after hearing what he wanted to do to Glupy, Yazz quickly pulled out his blaster rifle and killed Leq's two bodyguards and then threw his knife at Leq's head, killing him. He would find out that Glupy was his half-brother.
