[Source] The Swift 78B Vessel Courier System was a vessel courier system manufactured by BioTech Industries. It was implanted into the head of the "vessel," and allowed the user to jack into a computer system and upload data. The vessel had no ability to control the computer; the system only provided an upload interface. Up to 800 Sks of data could be stored within the vessel. Downloading the data was a quick process, but the upload was often time-consuming. The system was subject to infiltration by computer viruses, although protective software could be added.
