Inchig was a male magpie living in Mossflower Woods, and the mate of Griv. The two birds were sent by Korvus Skurr to escort reptiles, grass snakes, and a toad to the Quarry to meet with Baliss the Slayer. Their only job was to ensure that the others met with the adder, however upon arrival the grass snakes feigned death and they ended up talking with Baliss. Inchig and Griv secured a meeting time, and returned to the Doomwytes lair to report this back to Skurr. Inchig was a minor character, not much else is known.
