The alternate history plot in this timeline, will be General E Lee's smashing victory at Gettysburg in 1863 resulting in mass casualties for the Union, namely "Pickets Charge" which turns out to be a success. Pushing forward, he marches on Washington forcing President Lincoln to sign a peace deal, recognising the Sovereignty of the Confederate States of America.
