Sheila Cranna began as editor of the magazine with issue 108. She was the magazine's first female editor. In January 1986, issue 108 had a price of one pound in the United Kingdom (presumedly because of its "8 extra colour pages!"). For issue 109 it dropped in price to 75 pence in the United Kingdom. It rose in price again to one pound with July's issue 114 (again with "8 extra colour pages!"), then dropped to 85 pence for August's issue 115. It remained at this price for the rest of 1986.
