'Strength' is a relative concept with no frame of comparison. Against a caterpillar Agumon is clearly stronger but against an advanced Digimon, for example Diaboromon (a 'mega' level digimon), then he is clearly weak. For a general answer we must remember Agumon is a 'rookie' level digimon and as such will not be particularly strong when compared to many other, more advanced, digimon.
