Kagehisa Mura was a small village that was named after the founder of the Kagehisa family, the ronin and later Tsuruchi Kagehisa. The village could be found at the mouth of valley that led to Kyuden Ashinagabachi. It was the ancestral holding of the family and a large house at the center of the village belonged to Kagehisa Daimyo.
