The Protectorate of the Prosperous Realm is an organization within the Yellow Springs that enforces the laws of Yu Huang, dating back to the time when he consolided his realm. The Protectors have to ensure that the emperor's words are heeded and order within his realm is maintained. For this reason, they have free access to every place and every information within the Dark Kingdom of Jade. Refusals to cooperate are treated as high treason. But a Protector doesn't have the rights to judge over a person or to interfere into the normal lifes of a citizen, they have to cooperate with the Judges of the Dead or one of the Jade Censors in order to leviate proper judgement upon them.
