Palmeni Temple is a shrine in Daein which is where Chapter 22 of Path of Radiance takes place. During the events of the game, Tomenami was the Head Priest, and the temple housed the Ashera Staff. There is a small room in the cellars which Ike's companions find after winning the chapter that has writing all over the walls, written in the Ancient Tongue. Reyson, as the most fluent speaker of the Ancient Language in Ike's party, reads it and discovers that it was written by Lillia while she was imprisoned there on Ashnard's orders. While imprisoned there, Lillia entrusted Lehran's Medallion and the Galdr of Release to the priestess Elena, dying shortly after Gawain met Elena and they decided to run away together.
