William Schönhausen (ゐりゃむちんはうそん, Wiriamu Schinhauson) is a senior member of Avenon and one of Azashi's two most trusted subordinates. As such, he is one of the few members that has met the leader face to face, and furthermore, one of the three to normally be by his side. Unlike Hizen Sakamoto and the others that recruited Sannoto Nageki, his loyalty is iron clad and has pledged himself completely to the true cause of Avenon. William hails from the Schönhausen Family, an inclusive German family of Quincy that went into hiding prior to the extermination of their brethren. While wealthy, the family long lacked a powerful member till the birth of William nearly thirty years ago.
