Watercress Salad (known as Watercrest Salad in the online version) is the only dish that Grandpa knows how to make. It is a uncooked bowl of watercress and some other green-vegetables floating in a bowl of water mixed with vinegar, and even though it tastes disgusting, Grandpa loves it and forces Greg and Rodrick, the former of which hates this salad, to eat it. Rodrick also pretends Greg likes it to annoy Greg. Once Greg was tired of eating it, during one meal, he decided to fill his pocket with the Watercress Salad (Which he thought was gross, but stuck with it since it was better than eating it.)
