Gett'Ipher was a male Tellarite and a Federation ambassador in the late 23rd century. in the 2260s, he was responsible for bringing two rival parties, the Gottar Hegemony and the Omjaut Republic, together for negotiations. However, he fell mysteriously ill while en route from Starbase 31 to the conference on Algol Prime on board the USS Enterprise. Dr. Leonard McCoy treated Gett'Ipher, and expected him to recover.
