Bardischewski was active in German television and film from the 1950s onwards. He was a veteran actor on German radio beginning in 1946, playing the chorus of souls and the voices from the Hell Gates in a four part 1957 version of Dante's Divine Comedy, ensemble parts in various radio plays, and characters in the 1960s Sherlock Holmes series. He remained active on radio until his death.
