Mordusia's armed forces consist of the Mordusian Army, Navy and Air Force. Two Corps, a Medical and an Engineering one, exist independently. The Mordusian Police and Coast Guard are also part of the armed forces and subject to the military Chief of Staff. Military service is obligatory for all men and women turning 18 years old, discrimination is prohibited, and the army has a good name for training youths. Additional diploma's can be obtained, allowing young people to get a scholarship more easily. About 1 out of 10 cadets choose to sign on for a further period of 5 years as a reservist.
