Global Lock/Wiggle Strategy is an initial start through endgame strategy popularized by the player lou that has since gained a widespread following. It consists of the following steps: * Freeze the entire puzzle. Use the lowercase "f" keyboard shortcut to freeze the entire protein - backbone and sidechains. * There are two ways to go on this strategy. One is to start a global wiggle. * Gradually unfreeze selected areas, usually in small sections (2-5 segments plus sidechains). Remember, sidechains also get frozen with a global freeze so you may want to individually unlock them. * Move around the puzzle selecting different sections. If the score decreases, you can't stop and undo like Sirenbrian's Local Wiggle Strategy, but you can stop the wiggle and restore best and lock
