Careen Shire was a Jedi Knight in the waning years of the Old Republic. Chosen by Master Arturius, a mastered every form of lightsaber combat. She became his prized pupil and one of the most gifted padawans of her generation. Though she was relatively young, like many she was rushed into receiving the rank of a Jedi Knight for the Clone Wars. In the war she fought very hard, becoming a keen strategist in the heat of battle. Towards the end of the war she was caught in a ambush by separatist forces and gravely injured. Putting herself into hibernation trance, her former master put her into a stasis, and left the order.
