During the 20 years of neglect of the people by powers such as Japan, Germany, and the Latin Union, numerous revolts and new states have formed. Some of these new states, such as the Australian Confederation, Brazil, Quebec, and France, have managed to overthrow greater powers and win against them in wars, including wins over Japan, Germany, the United States, and the new Iberian Commonwealth. As the center of world powers moves from the Latin Union and Britain to China and Germany, a new era rises on the horizon of Earth.
