Wiel is the capital of Vanuku. It is also the regional capital of the Verhamelen state. Wiel is the third largest city in Vanuku, having a population of roughly 4,5 million people. The city of Wiel was only declared capital after the fascists took over in 3209, it now serves as the governmental and cultural center of Vanuku.
