The club's hockey section played in and won the first Lithuanian Championship in 1926. LFLS went on to win four more titles in pre-war Lithuania; in 1927, 1928, 1931, and 1933. Some of the earliest matches LFLS played were during the 1923-24 season against a squad named "Aviacija" (Lithuanian Air Force Pilots). The results were as follows: Dec. 25, 1923, 2:2, Dec 30, 1923, 11:2 (5:0), Jan. 6, 1924, 12:1 (6:1), Jan. 13, 1924, 6:2 (3:1).
