Vincent Clinkscales was a Grayson citizen and an officer of the Grayson Army. He was a nephew of Howard Clinkscales and the older brother of Carson Clinkscales. Holding the rank of Lieutenant, he served in the Palace Security until Steadholder Honor Harrington requested his transfer to the Harrington Steadholder's Guard. He then served as personal armsmen of Raoul Alexander-Harrington, the steadholder's heir. (HH13)
