Sold into slavery by her uncle at a very early age, she was eventually found at the age of four by the Jedi Padawan, Quinlan Vos; who removed her from Ryloth to the Jedi Temple, where she was found to be Force-sensitive. When she was ten years old, Quinlan, who had since been knighted, took her as his Padawan learner.
