The kiosk is automatically included on many premade community lots in University sub-neighborhoods (such as the Student Union in Sim State University), but it can be added to any community lot, including Sim-owned community lots. When in a Sim-owned business, the player can adjust the selling price for the electronics. Aside from college community lots, if The Sims 2: Nightlife is also installed, they will show up in several community lots in Downtown, such as the Fresh Rush Grocery and Cold Issue Clothing.
