Belinda "Billie" Ashford is the younger sister of Martin Ashford. After he was released from prison, Ash tried to find his sister. She is portrayed by Tessa de Josselin. Billie has many lovers during the show, like with Dean Sanderson before she arrives to Summer Bay, a fling with Kyle Braxton, and huge crush and obsession with Nate Cooper. But her love life focuses on her and VJ Patterson, whom she married after a one year relationship with him. After marrying him, Billie dies from lung cancer leaving her daughter in her husbands care.
