D. A. Stern, noted occult journalist, has been investigating the occult and related phenomena for over twenty years. He has written several previous works including Witchcraft: Primal Persecution, and European Folklore in America. In addition, he served as executive consultant on the recent television mini-series THE SALEM WITCH TRIALS. In 1999, Stern compiled the documents, interviews, articles, and reports of the Donahue, Leonard, and Williams investigation into The Blair Witch Project: A Dossier. He is sometimes credited as Dave Stern.
