After being time-shifted from witnessing one of the final battles of the War of 1812 from the previous week’s episode, Doug Phillips and Tony Newman are transported a bit forward in time to the island of Krakatoa in August, 1883. Upon interfering with a local tribe that is still living in the Dark Ages, they think that the lava is angry and it must have a sacrifice to be appeased, which the “devils from the sky” (meaning Phillips and Newman, as they would be called) would probably be their best bet.
