"A Desperate Race" was a job in Fire in the Sky of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Murray has to win a race with the van against four monkeys. When you start, Murray will give you the main setup; he has to race 4 racers for a Treasure Key. When control switches to the van, you might have a bad start. There are a few Nitro Canisters for boost along the road, but save them for when an ice patch throws you away from a position to get back. I use it when I am aimed at the track and I finish sliding to get a head start away from the corner. Otherwise, you can use it if you are falling behind a position bit by bit to pull ahead.
