Gary Ford (born October 6, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario - died Janaury 24, 2008) was a Canadian centre. He was signed by the Montreal Canadiens in 1967 and was assigned to their affiliate Muskegon Mohawks of the International Hockey League. Ford started out with a bang. The Mohawks won both the regular season and playoff titles in 1967-68. Ford himself scored 56 goals and 59 assists and won both the Leo P. Lamoureux Memorial Trophy as the leading scorer and the Garry F. Longman Memorial Trophy as the top rookie. All told Ford scored 337 goals and 541 assists in his ten seasons with Muskegon.
