Seventh Generation Natural Dish Liquid is a a Sodium Lauryl Sulfate based dishwashing liquid available in the U.S. and preliminary tests indicate that it works quite quite well and possibly is comparable to Dawn Pro. Only preliminary tests have been done, but those initial tests indicate that its surfactant strength is similar to Dawn Pro's and can be substituted 1:1.
