The stats topic is big on overreacting early in matches, but Final Fantasy is the one series where it's warranted because it can look so bad early in polls. Early on, Viewtiful Joe was making FFX look like crap. Sure FFX recovered to get a decent number, but this wasn't about whether or not FFX could beat Viewtiful Joe. It was about whether or not FFX could win the contest. And based on the early parts of this match, FFX was screwed. We weren't able to pinpoint the game that would upend it, but we were able to see how it would happen based on this one match.
