Bertrand Caradeuc was one of the pirates of Avalon. When Red Rodney Radcliffe called a parley to organize resistance to William Radcliff's offensive, Caradeuc was the most skeptical of Radcliffe's claims. Caradeuc's badgering forced Radcliffe to renounce leadership of the pirates, if it meant unification. Caradeuc participated in the Battle of the Hesperian Gulf. He lost his right ear to an English sharpshooter. During the parlay aboard the Aigle d'Argent, Caradeuc was one of those pirates who believed that Radcliff's Armada was beaten. When Avalon fell, Caradeuc was killed.
