Trina Blackthorne was the wife of Faarel Blackthorne and the mother of Cadden. Born on Alderaan, she studied in law and politics and graduated from the University of Alderaan with honors. This prestige gained her a seat as a representative on the galactic senate, where she served Alderaan for several years prior to the marriage to her husband. Afterwards, the two moved to Corellia, where she retired shortly after upon becoming pregnant and giving birth to Cadden. During their early years, Trina stayed at home and raised her son with the help of his grand-father.
