The Ministry of Justice was the apparatus of the New Republic government that was in charge of the prosecution of cases and the enforcement of law and order. It was headed by a Minister of Justice. The Ministry of Justice was headquartered in a large tower on Coruscant. The tallest spire of the tower had a wraparound transparisteel window and was used as a meeting point for the leaders of the New Jedi Order. In 28 ABY it became the Galactic Alliance Ministry of Justice when the New Republic was reorganized as the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.
