The World Nuclear League is an organisation with the stated aim of allowing parties from various nations to co-ordinate efforts with the purpose of allowing states the sovereign right to defend themselves by means of nuclear deterrence. The World Nuclear League is also an organisation which seeks to offset and provide political opposition to the International WMD Abolition Movement. Pacifism and membership of the WNL are not mutually exclusive. We welcome members who believe that the nuclear deterrent is the most effective way of ensuring world peace.
