Kiazi was an individual referenced in the Children of Tama language metaphorical phrase, "Kiazi’s children. Their faces wet". In 2368, on the planet El-Adrel IV, after fighting a native lifeform , Captain Dathon experienced spasms of pain, which distressed him considerably. In an attempt at hiding his condition, the Tamarian laughed. Captain Jean-Luc Picard could see that something was amiss with Dathon and asked him if he was alright, for which in response he uttered this phrase. (TNG: "Darmok" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
