Wallens was a Grayson citizen and a non-commssioned officer of the Grayson Space Navy. Holding the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer in the early 1920s PD, he served aboard the destroyer GNS Manasseh. He helped Midshipwoman Claire Bedlam Lecroix settle in when she was transfered aboard from the Ephraim. (HHA6.5: OS)
