Alygys are round, ball shaped space shuttles that are deployed all over the Lambda Gracia System. An Alygy (spelt as Aylagy in geographic terms)in real life is a small body of water attached to a large lake by a very thin stream. There is only one of these parasitic lakes in real life, named the Garabogazköl Aylagy and linked to the Caspian Sea.
