Brother Albert was a Grayson citizen and a priest of the Church of Humanity Unchained. Albert was Abigail Hearns' childhood confessor, and warned her that if she persued a career in the Grayson Space Navy, the fact that she might have to kill others in order to safe her own life and that of her colleagues, was to become part of her Test of Life.
