The Heavy Assault Weapon is, in the simplest way of describing it, a box packed with small rockets that can be launched either individually or in groups. Each of the Rockets is seven centimeters long & two & one-half centimeters in diameter, with enough fuel to propel themselves roughly sixty meters. The rockets can follow targets to a limited degree, being dirrected by a laser targeting module that can be either aimed by hand or connected to an automated tracking system. The front of the HAW is a double row of fifteen pop-away covers that protect the rockets until they fire. A failsafe built into the HAW prevents a rocket from firing if the cover fails to retract for any reason.
