The N.A.N.O Military Research Facility is a location outside of the Commonwealth territory. Two years before the Commonwealth Civil War, a squad of elite soldiers led by Alias under the command of Chancellor Sopot storm the facility to steal the nanotechnology created by Axel Capek. The entire squad dies upon landing, except Alias. Alone, Alias enters the Complex, retrieves the Nano Cell, and escapes with Shrike.
