Ioemi was a young boy and a member of the People of the Open Sky. In 2385, after the Children of the Open Sky arrived at Deep Space 9, Ioemi went missing while exploring the station, but was later found by Odo and Corazame. Ioemi was fascinated by Odo's shape-shifting abilities and Corazame's phosphorescent glow. (DS9 novel: The Missing)
